I'm allowed to show you the above.
James came running up from the letter box and thumped it on the window to show Abbey before he even got inside.
Abbey got her ID card for Massey today - but she is still waiting for her official acceptance letter. She had a preliminary acceptance email before Christmas subject to her NCEA marks showing University Entrance (which she got, and more with having NCEA level 3). Plus a police check had to be done. Gosh she isn't even on the police radar so we are sure she has ticked all the boxes. (Her course is selected entry)
Once she has the official piece of paper to say she is IN I'm allowed to share the exciting career path she has chosen.
Isn't it FABULOUS!!!
To think Abbey will be the very first person from my family and Brent's family ever to of gone to university. We are sooo proud of her. And I can hardly wait to tell you all more!
The Family...
I smiled seeing all the animals at the top this morning so rushed inside and grabbed the camera for the blog friends to see too.
FarmStay Guests.
Warm welcome to Indigo (Rosemary/Lordy line) I'm doing the blog now as Indigo's family go away tomorrow and I always think it is nice for the families to see their loved pet has settled in well. (Indigo was a bit grizzly - just like her mum Rosemary - she made us smile). But she has eaten her dinner so she will be right.
Monty is back - and has made himself at home.
LOVELY mess to clean up Me thinks he was playing with the green ball you can see in the photo. I wonder if the ball landed in the clean litter tray and he just couldn't help himself but fetch it out..
BUT how can you be cross with Monty who gives the biggest smoochies. (Monty is a brother to the blue girls)
But no way was she going to look at the camera tonight.
Molly relaxed shame the photo is blury - sorry Molly
Bella in a playful mood in the igloo. What a show she put on for Monty's family today big purrs and smoochies through the wire.

James, I couldn't post a comment yesterday, congrats to you for your results. And you go Abbey.
ReplyDeleteRose than you, it has been a thrilling week!
DeleteQuick reply, thunder and lightning right here. Abbey, truly wonderful news. Greetings from Jean

Well done Abbey!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw Indigo, I thought of Lordy immediately so was not surprised to read that he was the Dad.
Indigo looks very much like Lordy - temperament very much like her mother
DeleteVery exciting! Congratulations to Abbey! I remember that day when my letter for college arrived and my Mother had opened it for me! xo Nancy
ReplyDeleteI would not be allowed to open Abbey's mail LOL James lets me tho. The kids can see results on internet and Abbey is waiting for the email to say she is 100% in. Very excited for her.
DeleteNo wonder you're bursting at the seams with pride with your children. Abbey has come such a long way and how exiting that she'll be attending a Uni. Can't wait to hear what her future dreams are.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the kitties in the woodpile : )
Oh Wendy I am bursting and bursting with soo much pride. They both have had to work hard and especially with the cards life has dealt them. Abbey won;t be attending uni her health won't allow it but distance learning means she can work at her pace around the good days (which we need more of!)James and I can drive her to uni the days she needs to attend and we can hang out doing homeschool at the library. It's going to be a fun year.
