James and I dropped of box loads to Birthright and my Trade Me listings has earned us a top seller status LOL.
I've even put some poppy seeds on Trade Me to share from our garden.
I've given up counting the amount of items we have donated to birthright, but Trade Me keeps a record of how many items have sold, total so far 60 items have left our home from Trade Me..
Bbbbut I've also been buying on Trade Me.
The Outdoor bath
Plus a pot belly with a wetback, well actually I won two so one I will do up and sell on.
Plus a water tank.
We need one one more bit - a header tank and then we have all the items Brent needs to build a Bush bath.
Brent is on annual leave for three weeks soon and plans to re fence my garden/cattery area. Making room for another garden and the bush bath. Friends are eagerly waiting for the bush bath to be up and running.
It is going to be total bliss to have a hot bath under a full moon with the pot-belly beside you don't yea think?

The Great Escape Attempt
Charles had a trial run today. Thank goodness I am on to him!
Every morning Charles stays in his bed and we have our pats. He usually gets up before I finish cleaning. But yesterday he didn't.
I said goodbye to him. What happened next could ONLY have happened as I looked down to open the food container lid and return the scoop. I shifted the three other boys Milo, Muddy and Oliver out of the entry porch way and back into the main run, then locked the door behind them. (Thinking Charles was still tucked up in bed)
At morning tea time I saw Charles sitting in the entry porch way. ( Brent and James added this on for me to give double door entry) Sorry no photos as I was not pleased to see Charles sitting out there.
When I put the nut scoop away Charles must of zipped out of bed and ran and hid inside the cat carrier cages stored in the porch way, The cunning plan being to run between the legs of the next unsuspecting person to open up the main door. Plot foiled! - But doesn't he look innocent in the photo
Note While in the porch way Charles:
- had his morning constitution in the stack of clean litter trays
- knocked over the large storage bin of cat nuts (no doubt wanting his breakfast)
- Opened the cat treat packet and helped himself.

Oh dear Charles!! Luckily no harm done - he has too much thinking time! Love the idea of your outdoor bush bath - sipper on home made cider would be the icing on the cake...! Hope Brent has a productive oops I mean relaxing 3 weeks off!
ReplyDeleteI mean 'sipping' sorry I must remember to read through my comments before hitting the GO button!
DeleteYes too much thinking time - at home he plays in the bush at the back of his house. LOL yes I think Brent will have a productive 3 weeks off - however it would be nice to go on holiday ... one day...
DeleteGood luck with the projects! Those cat-they are so sneaky. You can see them thinking things through too. Smart little guys.
ReplyDeleteKathy Burmese are very clever cats! And our line have always been NAUGHTY!

Cats are so clever, thinking they can fool some of us most of the time. The bath looks so much better than upside down!! 2 pot bellies, a great win, you will be all set soon for moonlight bathing!! Cheers from Jean
ReplyDeleteMorning Jean - Charles fooled ME. Moonlight bathing - bring it on!
